I'm a happy owner of an MG 4 Excite 51 (one of the most affordable EVs on the Australian market), I've been working in IT across Queensland since 2000. I'm passionate about accelerating Australia's transition to electric transportation in all its forms.
The idea for SelectEV was born during my own journey to purchase my MG 4. Frustrated by dealership websites that were confusing, cluttered, and difficult to navigate, I wanted to create a tool to help Australians compare and identify the perfect EV for their lifestyle.
When I'm not coding or advocating for electric vehicles, I'm on a personal quest to discover Brisbane's best cheeseburger. The current champion in my book is Brokenheart Burger Club.

With a background in data engineering and web development, I joined SelectEV.tech in early 2025 to lead the programming efforts behind Australia's premier EV comparison platform. My focus has been on building a robust database architecture and implementing a user-friendly interface that makes comparing electric vehicles intuitive for Australian consumers.
At SelectEV, I've spearheaded the development of our PostgreSQL database design, implemented the FastAPI backend framework, and created the responsive UI using modern web technologies. I'm particularly proud of our magic link authentication system and the optimized database views that power our comparison features.
I believe electric vehicles represent a critical step forward in sustainable transportation, and I'm committed to making the transition easier for Australians by providing accurate, comprehensive information through our platform.
When not coding for SelectEV, I enjoy keeping up with the latest advancements in AI, contributing to open-source projects, and generally growing and learning over time. ;-)
